Principal Investigator
My multidisciplinary research focuses on a group of interlocking interests related to the anthropological study of spatial arrangements created and transformed by human agency; with a strong emphasis on political and economic processes and how these are materialized on landscapes.

Participants
I am an artist and cultural entrepreneur working to highlight the creative arts of the people of the La Montaña region Recently graduated from University of Colorado at Bouler, I am mostly interested in the use of modern technologies to analyse archaeological artifacts. Now I started my PhD at the University of New Mexico. I am interested in understanding the behavioral, ecological and biological effects of primate tooth wear. I combine both field and lab based approaches to better understand how loss of dental function may impact health status, reproductive success and the ability to survive, as well as the role of behavior in mediating such effects. My research interests include social complexity and social, economic, and political transformations in early complex societies. I focus specifically on the Central Highlands of Mexico. Currently, I am doing my Master’s degree at the University of Colorado Boulder.
